WHY JOIN US?

UQCC currently enters a 1st grade team in the Katherine Raymont Shield as well as a 2nd grade team in the Jodie Fields Shield.

UQCC started our very first junior girls team in 2018/19 and we now have teams in the MSW Stage 1 (U11s), Stage 2 (U13s) and Paul Pink Shield (U15s) competitions. In 2021, UQCC will be part of the inaugural QLD Cricket competitions, the Harris Shield (U15 pathway) and Kirby Short Cup (U19).

UQCC first entered a 1st grade team in the Katherine Raymont Shield in 2008/2009, winning the T20 competition in 2009/2010 and 2012/2013. Our 2nd grade team has played in the Jodie Fields Shield since the 2004/2005 season, winning the competition for the first time in 2020/21.

We have a wide range of skill levels in the club, ranging from complete beginners to state and national representatives. Current representatives include Queensland Fire and Brisbane Heat players Laura Harris and Charli Knott.
