Senior Women

Why Join Us?

UQCC is an inclusive club with a culture that finds the perfect balance between professionalism and having fun with your mates.

UQCC currently enters a 1st grade team in the Katherine Raymont Shield, a 2nd grade team in the Jodie Fields Shield and also competes in The Kirsten Pike Plate – a T20 night competition, so all levels are catered for at our club.

UQCC started our very first junior girls team in 2018/19 and we now have teams in the MSW Stage 1 (U11s), Stage 2 (U13s) and Paul Pink Shield (U15s) competitions. In 2021, UQCC became part of the inaugural QLD Cricket competitions, the Harris Shield (U15 pathway) and Kirby Short Cup (U19).

UQCC first entered a 1st grade team in the Katherine Raymont Shield in 2008/2009, winning the T20 competition in 2009/2010 and 2012/2013. Our 2nd grade team has played in the Jodie Fields Shield since the 2004/2005 season, winning the competition for the first time in 2020/21. UQCC is one of the most successful club’s in QLD Premier Cricket, winning the Club Championship 10 times out of the last 12 seasons.

We have a wide range of skill levels at the club, from social players to state and national representatives. Current representatives include Queensland Fire and Brisbane Heat players Laura Harris, Charli Knott and Nicola Hancock.
