Senior Women

WHY JOIN US?

UQCC currently enters a 1st grade team in the Katherine Raymont Shield as well as a 2nd grade team in the Jodie Fields Shield.

UQCC started our very first junior girls team in 2018/19 and will continue to offer more opportunities for girls to play cricket in 2019/20. This includes enter teams into the MSW Stage 1 Competition and The Paul Pink Shield.

UQCC first entered a 1st grade team in the Katherine Raymont Shield in 2008/2009, winning the T20 competition in 2009/2010 and 2012/2013. Our 2nd grade team has played in the Jodie Fields Shield since the 2004/2005 season, coming runner-up in 2011/2012.

We have a wide range of skill levels in the club, ranging from complete beginners to state and national representatives. Current representatives include Southern Stars player Jessica Jonassen as well as Queensland Fire and Brisbane Heat player Laura Harris.

If you are interested in playing for UQCC contact us at [email protected] or come along to our training sessions (details below).
